Join us for May's Networking over Coffee. This event is hosted by Chamber members High Performance Sport New Zealand

3 hopeful Olympians and one past Olympian tell what it's like in these changing times 
  • Emma Cumming (Cycling)   Junior world champion 2016 team sprint / Silver and Bronze medals at 2018 Com Games. Big international future ahead.
  • Stella Clayton-Green (Rowing)  NZ Junior and U23 international … BRONZE medalist. Olympic goals; Paris 2024, Los Angeles 2028
  • Callum Gilbert (Canoe Slalom) 5th World Cup in London 2019 to qualify for Tokyo. Soft wear developer and Extreme canoe exponent.
  • John Storey (retiring Elite Rower) GOLD 2017 World champs, Bronze 2018 WC / London and Rio Olympian. Engineering Honours graduate now completing PhD.
Waipa is the home of 150 Elite or “carded” athletes and with the new HPSNZ Strategy for 2024 recently launched, numbers are likely to be even more impressive in the next few years.

Athlete Life Advisors; Christina Jacklin, Criss Strange and Carla Johl will be your hosts at this event.

The Athlete Life programme is a holistic programme that helps athletes maximise their performance in sport and life. The programme is built around the SIX foundations of Wellbeing, Athlete Responsibility, Continuous Learning, professionalism, Purposeful Planning and Effective Communication.
