Event Description:
HPSNZ’s vision is to inspire the nation through more New Zealanders winning on the world stage. Working in partnership with National Sport Organisations (NSOs), HPSNZ provides strategic investment and contributes specialist resources and expertise to enhance the sporting success of New Zealand’s elite athletes.
This Networking Over Coffee event will provide an opportunity to hear from some of Cambridge’s talented high performance athletes, each of whom will share learnings from their own sporting journeys and explore how these lessons can transfer into the world of business.
Hear from Guest speakers
Camille Buscomb: Cambridge born and raised distance runner, Camille Buscomb has qualified to represent New Zealand in the 5000m and 10,000m races at the Tokyo Olympics next year. After spending much of the last three years based overseas, she is enjoying being based back in Cambridge as she builds up towards the Games.
Ashton Reiser: Ashton is a 21 year old canoe Sprint athlete based on Lake Karapiro. He is currently aiming to be selected for the Tokyo Olympics next year and is the current elite K1 200m and 500m national champion.
Jackie Kiddle: Jackie is a member of NZ’s World Champion Lightweight Women’s Double. She is currently studying towards a Master of Science specialising in Animal Behaviour, has a small merino sportswear start up business and is interested in a career in the Equine industry following the completion of her rowing career.
