The Sculpture Park and Arboretum is a 31 year old project to restore a derelict landscape, transforming it into a 17.5 hectare Arboretum.
More than 30,000 trees representing world-wide biodiversity have been planted since 1991.
There is now more than 100 sculptures and installations within the Park which makes it one of New Zealand's largest outdoor galleries.
The Art-In-Nature experience winds its way along a 2km trail, with sculptures set amongst a landscape of ponds, cliffs, rocks flowering shrubs and trees created from a derelict quarry.
