Networking over Coffee with Karapiro Rowing Inc

You’re invited to a unique Networking over Coffee hosted by Karāpiro Rowing.

Based on the shores of Lake Karāpiro, KRI stands as a cornerstone of New Zealand’s rowing community. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by a community of passionate volunteers who care deeply about rowing and the experiences that it creates– for athletes, their coaches and their families and supporters alike.

Each season, we help bring rowing events to life.  Our team of volunteers works hard behind the scenes to provide the infrastructure and the logistical and operational support to deliver unforgettable experiences, both on and off the water.

KRI also provides operational support to a number of other local event organisers, such as Waka Ama and Canoe Racing, who host their events at Lake Karāpiro, strengthening our connection with the wider community.

Our vision is to create opportunities for athletes to challenge themselves, support one another, and celebrate the values that sport represents – determination, teamwork and personal growth. Whatever the desired outcome, we are here to support that journey.

We invite you to share in an up close and personal experience.  Join us for morning tea and follow a race on the water from the comfort of our barge, ‘The Guardian’.

Please wear suitable clothing for being out on the water, including a warm jacket and closed-toe shoes.  A life jacket will be provided.
